
The games introduce 100 new species of Pokémon and follow the progress of the player character in their quest to master Pokémon. Pokmon HeartGold Version and Pokmon SoulSilver Version are 2009 remakes of the 1999 Game Boy Color role-playing video games Pokmon Gold and Silver. HeartGold and SoulSilver take place in the Johto region as in Pokémon Gold and Silver. They were released on September 12, 2009, in Japan, and were released on Main North America, on Main Australia, and on Main Europe.
